Whether you are a brand new Christian or made that decision years ago – we are all in the process of growing in our relationship with Jesus and FBC Floral City is a great place to do that!.
How do you work this thing?
Where do I begin?
You begin here!
Study God's Word - the Bible!
The best way to grow in your walk with Jesus is to get involved in a local church. Here at FBC Floral City, we would love to help you grow and learn more about what it means to follow Jesus. We have Sunday morning Bible Studies for all ages beginning at 9:45 this is a great opportunity to dig into the Bible and ask questions. Sunday and Wednesday night services are also a great way to learn more.
Daily time with God...
There are many good devotional books available. The church provides one called, “Our Daily Bread” for anyone who would like one. Please feel free to ask someone where to get your copy.
In this tech age, many people prefer an app or online devotional delivered right to your mailbox each day. Here are a few links to some you might want to check out.
Whichever you chose, spending time in God’s Word is a great way to begin your day!
There's an app for that ...

If you would like an audio version you can find one here: https://www.biblestudytools.com/
Some people like to be able to systematically read through the Bible in a year – here are some plans for that: https://oneyearbibleonline.com/reading-plan-downloads/
The third way we grow is through prayer
Prayer is one of our greatest privileges as God’s children
Whether you’re searching for God or a longtime believer, there’s a good chance you have questions about prayer. How exactly are you supposed to pray? And why should you do it?
Prayer is simply talking to God—and the most important thing I can say about this is that God wants you to talk to Him! He loves us and He has promised to hear us when we pray. Understand that God welcomes you into His presence and promises to hear you. Trust His promises and learn to bring every concern to Him in prayer.
